We are very fortunate to be supported by a registered charity, the Friends of Lastingham, who work closely with the Vicar and Parochial Church Council to help maintain the building and to foster research into its history. They also organise a range of events in support of the church.
The Friends hold their Lastingham Lecture each year usually in October near to St Cedd's Day. This year the Lecture will be held in the church on Saturday 28th October at 11am and will be followed by a light lunch. Motre details to follow.
